For 15 years I've helped businesses turn complicated technology into things people find easy to use. Now I work directly with local businesses and founders on their websites and software.

How I got here.

  1. Tester

    Testing banking software

    Release testing on a bank’s new internet banking portal, in Sydney. It’s where I learned that the details are the job.

  2. Product owner

    Music software for DJs and producers

    From tester to product owner. I co-designed and launched a music-making app built to be deep but simple, rebuilt a core library feature, and helped move the business from hardware-unlocked licences to subscriptions. Lots of time with DJs and producers, working out what they actually needed.

  3. Head of product

    Heading product at a global software company

    Product analyst to head of product. I led a remote team of product owners, designers and testers across time zones, took a new paid add-on from idea to launch, rebuilt the main dashboard from customer feedback, and gave the team a calmer, clearer way to ship.

    Building my own

    GateBud, QR check-in for orchards, and Pulled, home education applications for NZ parents. Both started from a blank repo. I run GateBud myself, and Pulled as a family.
